Automatic Vertical Wheel Pluggers

E-PAK Machinery's Automatic Vertical Wheel Pluggers are designed to improve the efficiencies of your packaging line while maintaining consistent and accurate placement of plug fitments into your containers.
Several styles of sorting devices are available to orient and feed plug fitments into the delivery chute where they are then stripped and securely held on the vertical wheel by either magnetic or vacuum assist heads. The vertical wheel placer, which is synchronized with a timing screw indexer, inserts and presses the plug fitments firmly into the containers as it passes through the system in a continuous motion.
E-PAK Pluggers are equipped with servo drive motors to provide precise control of the vertical wheel placer and timing  screw indexing system. The crank height adjustment simplifies changeover to accommodate various container heights and the sorter and plugger can support plug fitments of various diameters. Stainless steel and anodized aluminum construction offers a robust design for years of dependable service and Allen-Bradley PLC controls manage the operation of this plugger enabling quick setup and operation.
