Types of Conveyers for Your Production Line

Molten Cooling Conveyer maximizing production efficiency

When you work in any business that packages products, you’re likely to become familiar with the different types of machinery available for your needs. One such type of machinery is a conveyer. At E-PAK Machinery, we offer three types of conveyers. Learn which is the best for your product by reading more about each type: standard conveyers, cooling conveyers for heated product, and rotary turntables.

Standard Conveyers

Standard and variable speed conveyers from E-PAK Machinery are available with a range of different options designed to suit the needs of many different products or companies. They are available with varying speeds to fit your production needs, and are available in a wide variety of lengths, widths, and construction materials. There are also straight and curved options available—both U-shaped and S-shaped—to accommodate for your workspace. This allows you to build a conveyer to suit your exact needs and because the pieces are modular, you can add or take away pieces as time goes on to maximize your production efficiency. These conveyers are simple machines, moving product from one place to another.

Cooling Conveyers

Cooling conveyers , like standard conveyers, are designed to move products from one place to another; however, they are designed for products that are filled at elevated temperatures. Products like deodorant, candles, and more are filled into containers while hot, and cooling conveyers move at a slow, smooth speed, allowing the product to cool down and harden over time. Fans are available to install on cooling conveyers, as well, to expedite the cooling process even more. Cooling conveyers are typically used in conjunction with molten product fillers, pre-heaters, re-melt stations, and transfer shuttles.

Rotary Turntables

Rotary turntables increase efficiency of production lines. These loading turntables create a sufficient backlog of product for your operators, allowing your fillers to operate at maximum production capacity. Because there is then a backlog of product, employees have enough products to package without having to wait for the next bottle from the conveyer. Depending on what type of products you are packaging to ship out, a rotary turntable may be the best and most efficient option for your production line.
