Pump Filler Machines

If you run a business that uses packaging machinery like liquid filling machines—or are considering the investment—it’s important to know that you’re using the best machines for your specific product. At E-PAK Machinery, we offer a variety of different machines that serve a number of purposes. If you’ve been looking for a general overview of the types of machinery available for your needs, you’ve come to the right place—today, we’re reviewing the different filling and capping machines offered.

Filling Machines

Liquid filling machines are available with manual, semi-automatic and completely automatic functions, as well as gravimetric and volumetric liquid fillers. At E-PAK Machinery, we are proud to offer an array of different liquid filling machines, including:

  • Gravity and pressure fillers: These are suitable for filling virtually any liquid into containers. Gravity fillers may be better for thin or foamy products, while pressure fillers are better for heavier, more viscous products.
  •
  • Pump fillers: These offer an efficient and versatile method for filling a variety of liquids from low to high viscosity. These machines are available with progressive cavity pumps, gear pumps, love pumps, rotor pumps, depending on which is best for your product and needs.
  •
  • Piston fillers: Available in gravimetric and volumetric options, these fill products to an even level using a piston to measure the amount dispensed to a container.
  •
  • Net weigh filler: Net weigh fillers fill containers with a large range of different liquids, including hazardous, corrosive, or sanitary products. These machines can be custom built for your specific packaging line for optimal efficiency, and they fill to a certain weight, ensuring consistency between containers.
  •
  • Overflow fillers: These fillers dispense a certain amount of product, and use a storage container to hold the excess, or overflow, product.
  •
  • Molten fillers: As you may have guessed these are used for molten products like waxy or petroleum products that need to be melted before filled into their containers.
  •

Capping Machinery

As for capping machines, there are a few different functions they can provide, aside from the actual capping process. In addition to capping machines that actually place the caps onto containers, there are cap sorting elevators, cap sorters, cap pre-feeders and cap elevators. Check out our array of machines for capping :

  • Spindle cappers: This machine places and tightens threaded caps onto containers.
  •
  • Snap cappers: This machine applies and presses into place snap-on caps.
  •
  • Chuck cappers: These also place and tighten caps onto containers, but unlike spindle cappers which stop the containers to tighten the lids, this machine aims to maintain the speed of your packaging line, so containers have the lid placed on and are then sent through a line of cap-tightening wheels.
  •
  • Cap sorters, cap sorting elevators and cap elevators: These three machines all have the same basic goal: to orient the caps to the position they need to be in for placement on the containers.
  •
  • Cap pre-feeders: Used for increasing the efficiency of automatic capping, these machines organize the caps so they are ready to be used.
  •
  • Automatic vertical wheel pluggers: These machines are used on containers that, instead of a twist-on or snap-on cap, require a plug.
